 Network Construction: Calling Card Service

Case StudyThe flow picture below shows how a Calling Card Service can be set up using our product of shang 308 fxo Gateway.

Calling Card Service is a very convienent service. it is not limited by the broadband network. it can be easily distributed by reseller.

How to start your calling card service?
1. find a calling card service provider. they must have a softswitch, which can provide calling card service. Don't contact an agent which don't have a softswitch. You should consider your target customers and their main called area. Make a decision who have the best service and the best rates for those target area.
2. buy one fxo gateway, such as Shang308.
3. setup the broadband internet. 256kbps is engough for 8 concurrent calls.
4. apply 4 lines of PSTN line, remember to apply group service, that is 4 lines with only 1 number.

Some other model:
1. if you want to be more bigger, you should think about using E1 gateway while not fxo gateway to provide service. Because it will be more powerful and more stable than analogue fxo. but rent a E1 line is more expensive.

2. if you want to setup a calling card server by you self? Please visit some softswith provider such as asterisk. If you have a softswitch, you will save the internal expense and talk with the termination providers directly.

3. if you want to provide service by GSM network? Ok, buy one GSM gateway, plug your sim card, and connect it with Shang308 FXO gateway.
